Art Gallery of Ontario

La colección de la Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) cuenta con más de 120.000 obras, desde arte contemporáneo de vanguardia, como Infinity Mirrored Room - Let's Survive Forever de Yayoi Kusama, hasta obras maestras europeas, como La masacre de los inocentes de Peter Paul Rubens. Las obras de artistas indígenas canadienses consagrados y emergentes brillan junto a la extensa colección del Grupo de los Siete. Las colecciones de fotografía muestran la evolución y el impacto del medio con obras significativas de artistas como Garry Winogrand y Diane Arbus. Spend a few hours to a full day exploring the extensive collections. Short on time? Don’t miss the McLean Centre for Indigenous + Canadian Art.

Las mañanas entre semana suelen ser las menos concurridas.

Los mapas de mano están disponibles gratuitamente y pueden recogerse en el mostrador de bienvenida a su llegada. También puede descargar un mapa digital.

Los bolsos y mochilas de más de 18x16 x6 pulgadas deben dejarse en el guardarropa; se aplicarán tasas.

Los niños pequeños y los cochecitos son bienvenidos, pero no se permite la entrada de carritos o sillas de paseo en las galerías.

El CityPASS es justo lo que necesitas cuando llegas por primera vez a una ciudad. Las entradas son imprescindibles, y si se ahora dinero, mejor aún.
¡Fabuloso!
Encontré un CityPASS para Toronto y lo compré. Después de eso, el viaje terminó siendo todo un éxito. Hay tantas cosas que hacer en Toronto que, antes de esto, no teníamos ni idea. El CityPASS tiene mucho que ofrecer para todo tipo de personas.

Excelente precio a cambio de atracciones increíbles. He recurrido a ello cada vez que me han visitado amigos y familiares procedentes de fuera del país. ¡Me encanta!
Merece la pena para quienes viajan con un presupuesto cerrado
No suelo comprar pases de este tipo porque normalmente estás pagando por cosas que realmente no quieres hacer. Y como mochilero, cada dólar cuenta. Sin embargo, había planeado visitar el Zoológico de Toronto, la Torre CN y el Museo Real de Ontario, y solo esos tres lugares habrían valido más que el coste del CityPASS.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not worth the cost or time Only two attractions were worth visiting - ROM and the Aquarium. Made reservations to the CN Tower and got there early on a Sunday morning and was told to get on the end of the line which went outside, completely past the Aquarium and turned towards the baseball stadium. There were hundreds of people on the line and the wait in the sun would have still taken hours to reach the top. Why have a reservation? We would have missed our flight if we waited on the line. The boat ride was really cheesy too. ROM and Aquarium were good attractions but didn't justify the cost of the City Pass. Would have been better to include the Ceramic and Hockey Museums.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adventure Mode On Buying City Pass tickets was the best decision I made for my trip! It was so simple and easy with the City Pass app. I really appreciated the flexibility and how every day was a new adventure. I was able to experience the city in a way that was perfect for me, doing as much or as little as I wanted to do. From now on whenever I travel, I’ll look to see if there is a City Pass available in the city.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great savings!! I got the CityPass when my family came to visit, totally worth it. I could save a lot of money on the entry fee which would have been atleast 35-40% more without the CityPass. I would love to see more options getting added in the future, currently has only about 7 places to choose from. Also, the use by 9 days after first use is a very short time especially for local travellers, would be great if the validity is increased. Year long validity would definitely attract more visitors to get the CityPass.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT WORTH IT! I do not recommend this pass. In my experience, it would have been much better to purchase each attraction separately. The biggest issue was the app, which is required to access your passes. It worked only on the first day, and after that it never loaded again. We then tried accessing our passes through the website on a computer, but that was just as frustrating. The verification codes they emailed us to confirm our purchase were repeatedly rejected as invalid, so we couldn’t even log into our account. I deleted and reinstalled the app, hoping it would fix the problem, but it didn’t. We ended up using a different phone just to access the passes for another attraction, but the exact same issue happened again. Customer service was practically nonexistent. The only way to contact them was through WhatsApp, which sounded convenient but turned out to be anything but. Responses were slow and unhelpful, and resolving the issue took far more time and effort than it should have. In the end, we spent far too much time troubleshooting technical problems just to save a relatively small amount of money. The stress and inconvenience completely outweighed any savings. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. The app was unreliable, the website didn’t work properly, and customer support failed when we needed it most. It simply wasn’t worth all the hassle. I would not recommend this pass.
